individual therapy

I work with individuals and couples at my counselling and psychotherapy practice in Canary Wharf. I offer daytime and evening appointments Monday to Friday and so am able to discuss a convenient time that best suits your schedule. But before you make your first appointment, you might like have a free no-obligation conversation with me over the phone. This way, you can find out more about me and ask questions before deciding to meet up.

The practice is a five-minute walk from Cabot Square, eight minutes from Canary Wharf Underground Station (Jubilee Line) and around 4 minutes from West India Quay and Westferry DLR stations. This is less than a 15-minute journey from London Bridge, Bank, Tower Hill, Greenwich and Stratford. For directions to my practice, click here: Directions.

The practice is quietly located in a listed workshop conversion in the historical docklands (close to the Museum of London Docklands). Since you can enter my office directly, there is no need for you to disclose your identity to reception or security so your strictest confidence is ensured. My office is on ground level with disabled access and free parking can be arranged on request for all clients.

At your first session, or assessment, we will discuss what brings you to therapy and what you hope to get out of it. I will be honest with you about how we could work together to tackle the difficulties you are facing. If you then decide that it is for you, we will agree an initial time frame to work towards and review your progress regularly. It is important that you can commit to a 50-minute session regularly to make sure that you get the most out of therapy. Weekly sessions, same time on a specific day, is the usual counselling psychology and psychotherapy agreement. However, I would be happy to reschedule appointments wherever possible to best suit your needs.
